Replay is a sparkling comedy of errors, an evocative and original portrait of Vienna by night, but also the personal drama of a man who has not yet found his place in the world.

Superficial civic commitment is constantly placed side by side with paradoxical and sometimes even somewhat grotesque situations in Forward. And the director, for her part, aims precisely at this, without openly supporting this or that party, but drawing a faithful and universal fresco of the world of politics and the exhausting election campaigns.

FLORA

With Flora, Jessica Hausner – similarly to what her colleague Barbara Albert did a couple of years later with Sunspots – began her journey into the world of the seventh art with an interesting coming-of-age, in which some basic features of what was to become her particular directorial approach could already be recognised.
