INGEBORG BACHMANN – JOURNEY INTO THE DESERT
Ingeborg Bachmann – Journey into the Desert unfolds on two temporal levels: on the one hand, we witness the first encounter between the protagonist and Frisch, their toxic relationship and their separation; on the other hand, at the same time, we see the finally free woman, who tries to heal her emotional wounds through a long journey into the desert. The woman and then the writer. Through the woman, the writer emerges. At the Berlinale 2023.
MAPPAMUNDI
In its complex simplicity, MappaMundi successfully depicts the history not only of our planet, but also of mankind, even hypothesising a (not) too distant, but practically inevitable future. Can there ever really be a definitive end, however? Bady Minck does not want to formulate any precise theory on the matter.
FEVER
Reality and imagination. Past and present. War and peace. Pain and serenity. In Fever, all these elements play the leading role, they often get mixed up, they confuse us, but, all together, they point the finger directly at every war, which is responsible for ruining the lives of millions of people.
BEING AND NOTHINGNESS
It immediately presents itself as a good blend of arts, Being and Nothingness. Music and film thus give rise to a completely innovative and unique product. And to this end, director Bady Minck has opted for a quite minimalist approach.
