REPLAY
Replay is a sparkling comedy of errors, an evocative and original portrait of Vienna by night, but also the personal drama of a man who has not yet found his place in the world.

The Unfish is a decidedly original feature film as far as Austrian cinema is concerned. Director Robert Dornhelm, for his part, was clearly interested in what was being made abroad, showing particular curiosity in 1980s fantasy films.
In The Seventh Continent, Michael Haneke’s first feature film, what we observe is the progressive and sudden disintegration of the contemporary bourgeois family, observed and approached in an almost Schnitzlerian style, complete with omnipresent violence that is never really represented before our eyes. A constant theme, this, in Haneke’s rich filmography.
